BASLP/MASLP qualified speech-language therapists helping children with speech delay, stammering, autism communication & language development — South Bopal, Shela & Sanand
A structured, play-based programme built around your child's specific profile.
Our BASLP therapist evaluates receptive language, expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice quality, and social communication using standardised tools. This takes 45–60 minutes and gives us a precise picture of where your child is.
We set specific, measurable goals tailored to your child's age, diagnosis, and learning style. Goals are written in plain language so parents understand exactly what we are working towards.
For young children, all therapy feels like play — we use games, songs, pictures, bubbles, toys, and stories. Older children work on articulation drills, conversation practice, phonological awareness, and social scripts.
When sound production is affected by weak oral muscles, we use targeted oro-motor exercises — blowing, tongue strengthening, lip coordination — to build the physical foundation for clear speech.
Therapy is 1 hour per session. Real progress happens in the 167 hours between sessions. We train parents in simple daily techniques — during meals, bath time, play, stories — that multiply the impact of every session.
We track every session with objective data. Monthly written reports show you exactly how many words your child has added, which sounds they have mastered, and the next targets. You always know progress is happening.
Correct pronunciation of age-appropriate sounds, fluent sentence construction, and the ability to be understood by unfamiliar listeners.
Expanded vocabulary, better sentence grammar, and improved ability to follow instructions and tell stories — essential for school success.
Ability to start conversations, take turns, read social cues, and communicate in group settings — peer relationships become possible.
Children who can express their needs have fewer meltdowns, less frustration, and greater emotional stability. Communication is self-regulation.
Aarav came to us at 3.5 years using fewer than 10 single words. Parents had been told to "wait and see." Developmental assessment confirmed a significant expressive language delay.
We began 3x weekly play-based speech therapy focused on vocabulary building, imitation, and parent coaching. Aarav's mother implemented daily 10-minute speech activities at home using our programme.
Within 6 months, Aarav was using 2–3 word phrases consistently. At 12 months, he was speaking in full sentences and enrolled in mainstream preschool. His teachers now describe him as talkative.
The earlier the better. We assess children from 18 months. If a child has not said their first words by 15 months or is not combining two words by 24 months, an assessment is recommended immediately — not at the next birthday.
This varies by the nature and severity of the difficulty. Speech sound disorders may resolve in 3–6 months. Language delays and autism communication goals typically require 12–24+ months of consistent therapy. We give you an honest estimate after the initial assessment.
Yes. Stammering (fluency disorder) responds very well to early intervention — especially before age 6. We use evidence-based fluency shaping and stuttering modification techniques appropriate to your child's age and profile.
Yes, and it is one of our most important services. Children with ASD often have complex communication profiles — some are non-verbal, some have strong vocabulary but poor social communication. We tailor the programme precisely to each child's needs.
A qualified speech-language pathologist (BASLP/MASLP) is a university-trained clinician who can assess, diagnose, and treat speech disorders. A speech teacher only teaches speaking skills. All Kocoon Junior therapists hold BASLP or MASLP degrees.
