20+ Years of Helping
Children Grow
Kocoon Junior began as a small speech therapy practice in 2003. Today, we are Ahmedabad's most trusted child development center — a multi-disciplinary team of specialists helping 2000+ families navigate speech delay, autism, ADHD, and 11 more developmental challenges.
Our Journey
From a single speech therapy practice to Ahmedabad's most complete child development center.

2003
Speech Therapy Practice Begins
The foundation is laid — a dedicated speech therapy practice in Ahmedabad focused on giving children with speech delays, stammering, and language difficulties a voice. Small in size, but already building the reputation that would define two decades of growth.

2018
Kocoon Junior Child Development Center Established
After 15 years of expanding services to meet the needs of Ahmedabad's families, Kocoon Junior is formally established as a multi-disciplinary child development center. Speech therapy, occupational therapy, ABA therapy, special education, and behavioral support programs are brought together under one identity and one roof.

2024
Second Center Opens — Shela
Growing demand from families in South Bopal, Shela, Ghuma, Ambli, and Thaltej leads to the opening of our second center at Kavisha Atria, Shela. The same team, same approach, and same commitment to quality — now closer to even more families.

2025
Third Center Opens — Sanand
Kocoon Junior reaches Sanand, Gujarat's fastest-growing industrial and residential corridor. Families in Sanand, Viramgam, Changodar, and surrounding areas now have access to the same integrated child development programs that have helped 2000+ families across Ahmedabad.
Our Story
Built one family at a time — two decades of consistent care across Ahmedabad.
It started in 2003 with a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves the chance to be heard, understood, and helped — regardless of their challenge. What began as a speech therapy practice serving a handful of families in Ahmedabad grew steadily, year by year, as word spread among parents about results that spoke for themselves.
Over the following 15 years, the practice evolved. Parents kept coming with children who had needs beyond speech — sensory difficulties, motor delays, attention challenges, learning gaps, behavioral patterns that traditional schooling couldn't address. The response was clear: expand the team, expand the programs, and never turn a family away because a service didn't exist yet. By 2018, Kocoon Junior was formally established as a full child development center — the name reflecting the center's identity as a nurturing, growth-focused space where children could truly flourish.
The growth continued. In 2024, a second center opened in Shela to serve the rapidly growing communities of Bopal, Shela, Ghuma, and Ambli. In 2025, a third center opened in Sanand, bringing the same integrated approach to families in Sanand, Viramgam, and surrounding areas. Today, Kocoon Junior is a team of speech therapists, occupational therapists, ABA therapists, special educators, and child psychologists — all working under one roof, coordinating across programs, and treating each child as an individual.
Kocoon Junior by the Numbers
Two decades of consistent results, built on one family at a time.
What We Believe
The principles that guide every decision we make for every child in our care.
Every Child Is Unique
No two children are the same. Every therapy plan, every learning approach, every session at Kocoon Junior is tailored to the individual child — their specific challenges, their learning style, their strengths, and their family's goals.
Parents Are Partners
Parents are present in every session at Kocoon Junior. We believe that therapy that stays inside the clinic walls is only half as effective. When parents understand the approach and practice skills at home, children progress faster and skills generalise to real life.
Early Intervention Changes Outcomes
The earlier a developmental challenge is identified and addressed, the better the outcome. We encourage parents not to wait and see — the window between ages 2–5 is the most critical period for intervention. Our free initial consultation exists precisely so that the barrier to starting is as low as possible.
No Language Barriers
Every Kocoon Junior therapist speaks Gujarati, Hindi, and English. This is not a courtesy — it is a fundamental requirement. A parent who cannot explain their child's home behaviour in their own language, or a child who cannot communicate comfortably with their therapist, cannot benefit fully from therapy.
Evidence-Based, Always
Every program at Kocoon Junior is built on evidence-based practice. We follow established international frameworks — ASHA guidelines for speech therapy, BACB standards for ABA, sensory integration frameworks for OT — adapted for the needs and context of Ahmedabad families.
Integrated, Not Siloed
A child with autism often needs speech therapy, OT, and ABA in parallel. At Kocoon Junior, our therapists coordinate with each other so programs are aligned. One team, one shared understanding of the child, one consistent approach — not three separate clinicians working independently with no communication.
Our Approach to Child Development
A structured, parent-centered, multi-disciplinary model that delivers results across all 14 programs.
Free Initial Consultation
Every family starts with a free 30-minute consultation. No referral needed. We listen to the parent's concerns, observe the child briefly, and recommend the most appropriate program — or confirm that no intervention is yet needed.
Structured Child Assessment
A detailed evaluation of the child's current developmental level, strengths, challenges, and learning profile. Assessment tools are age-appropriate, play-based, and conducted in the child's home language.
Individualised Therapy Plan
A personalised program built around the specific goals identified in assessment. Goals are written in measurable terms, reviewed monthly, and shared with parents in simple, clear language — no jargon.
Parent-Involved Sessions
Parents are present in every session. Therapists explain what they are doing and why, demonstrate home practice activities, and answer questions. Therapy that parents understand is therapy that continues at home.
Regular Progress Reviews
Formal progress reviews every 4–8 weeks assess whether goals are being met and update the plan accordingly. Parents receive a written summary. No child progresses on the same plan indefinitely without review.
Multi-Team Coordination
When a child is enrolled in more than one program, therapists coordinate. A child in speech therapy and special education has both specialists aligned on the same goals — producing faster, more integrated progress.
Our 14 Child Development Programs
